Lesson Procedure:
Introduction (5 minutes):
Greet the students and introduce the topic of the lesson: belief in the names of Allah and His attributes.
Ask the students if they know what names and attributes mean and provide a brief explanation if needed.
Understanding Allah's Names and Attributes (15 minutes):
Write the word "Allah" on the whiteboard and explain that it is the Arabic name for God.
Discuss the concept of belief in Allah's names and attributes, emphasizing that Allah has many names and attributes that describe His qualities and characteristics.
Show examples of Allah's names and attributes from the natural world, such as the sun's light representing Allah's attribute of guidance, or the rain representing Allah's attribute of mercy.
Distribute the handouts with the names and attributes of Allah in both Arabic and English.
Have the students read the names and attributes aloud, and provide explanations or examples for each one.
Identifying Allah's Names and Attributes (15 minutes):
Divide the students into pairs or small groups.
Distribute art supplies and instruct the students to choose one or more names or attributes of Allah from the handout.
Ask them to create a visual representation of the chosen name or attribute, using the art supplies.
After they finish, have each group present their artwork and explain the chosen name or attribute's significance.
