# LINE

> Connect your agent to a LINE Official Account so it answers messages on LINE.

Your agent can answer messages sent to your LINE Official Account. You copy two keys from the LINE Developers console and paste them into Easy-Peasy.AI; the webhook is set up for you.

<Note>
  LINE is available on paid plans. You need a LINE Official Account with the Messaging API turned on.
</Note>

## Connect LINE

  <Step title="Turn on the Messaging API">
    In LINE Official Account Manager, open your account's **Settings** > **Messaging API** and enable it. This creates a Messaging API channel you can open in the [LINE Developers console](https://developers.line.biz/console/).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Copy the channel secret and access token">
    In the LINE Developers console, open your channel:

    * On the **Basic settings** tab, copy the **Channel secret**.
    * On the **Messaging API** tab, under **Channel access token (long-lived)**, click **Issue** and copy the token.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paste them into Easy-Peasy.AI">
    Open your agent, click **Channels**, and click **Connect** on **LINE**. Paste the **Channel access token** and **Channel secret**, and click **Save**. The keys are checked and the webhook is registered with LINE automatically.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the webhook and auto-replies">
    Back on the **Messaging API** tab in the LINE Developers console, make sure **Use webhook** is on. In LINE Official Account Manager, turn off the account's automatic greeting and reply messages if you don't want them to answer alongside your agent.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send a test message">
    Once connected, the LINE window has a button to open your account in LINE. Add it as a friend and send a question.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## How it works

* The agent answers in one-to-one chats and in groups the account has been added to. Each chat keeps its own history.
* It reads text messages. For other messages, it replies that it can only read text.
* Your [actions](/docs/agents/actions) work on LINE, and conversations appear in [**Conversations**](/docs/agents/conversations) under **LINE**.
* Each LINE Official Account can be connected to one agent.

To stop replies, switch off **Enable integration** in the LINE window.
