A brand voice is a set of writing instructions for your business: its tone, vocabulary, sentence style, and the words it avoids. You give Easy-Peasy.AI your website or a few samples of your writing, and it writes the instructions for you. Then [Marky and the tools](/docs/brand-voice/use) can write in that voice. Creating a brand voice is free. You can have as many as you like, for example one for your blog and one for social media. ## Create a brand voice Go to **All Tools** > **AI Agents** > **Brand Voice**, or open [easy-peasy.ai/voices](https://easy-peasy.ai/voices). Click **Add new**, or **Create Your First Brand Voice** if you don't have one yet. A few good paragraphs work better than a long mix of styles. Enter a **Voice Name**, such as "Blog" or your business name. You'll pick the voice by this name later. The **Content Summary** shows what will be analyzed. Add details to your brand voice with Voice Name Example Yoga Studio and a Content Summary: Method Website scraping, Website example-yoga-demo.easy-peasy.site Your content is analyzed and the writing instructions are written, which takes up to a minute. Then the voice opens. ### Describe your style instead If you have no samples, choose **Describe Your Style**, pick a starting point, and write a few sentences: Describe your style: starting points Describe generally, Define style objective, Tailor to an audience, Use specific voice & tone, and Use custom instructions (advanced), with a text box | Starting point | What to write | | ----------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Describe generally** | Your overall writing style, such as "Clear and direct, short sentences, simple words" | | **Define style objective** | What your writing should achieve | | **Tailor to an audience** | Who you write for | | **Use specific voice & tone** | The voice and tone you want | | **Use custom instructions** | Finished instructions. They're saved exactly as you write them, without being rewritten | With the first four, your description is turned into full writing instructions. ## What you get The voice's page shows its **Instructions for AI**, organized by topic: tone and personality, language style, sentence structure, vocabulary, point of view, how to structure content, and brand personality traits. They often include example phrases to use and to avoid. Your Brand Voice: Voice Name Example Yoga Studio and Instructions for AI, starting with Writing style instructions and a Tone & Personality section: warm and welcoming, calm and reassuring, inclusive and encouraging Your original samples aren't kept; only the instructions are. ## Edit a brand voice Open **Brand Voice** and click **Edit** next to a voice. * To change the instructions, click **Edit** next to **Instructions for AI**, change the text, and click **Save Changes**. Add rules the analysis missed, such as "Never use exclamation marks" or "Always write 'sign up', not 'signup'". * To rename it, change **Voice Name** and click **Save**. Marky reads all of them. ## Delete a brand voice Open the voice, click **Delete** at the bottom, and confirm. Deleted voices can't be restored. ## Share with your team On a Teams plan, the brand voices your team creates appear on everyone's **Brand Voice** page, so the whole team writes the same way.
