# History and trash

> Find everything you've created, keep favourites, and restore or permanently delete what you've thrown away.

**History** in the sidebar keeps what you create, sorted by type and newest first.

Each item has the same buttons as where you made it: copy, save, share, and so on. On a Teams plan, the account owner can filter **Images** and **Videos** by team member.

## Restore or empty the trash

Deleted text results go to **Trash**. Click the restore icon on one to move it back.

**Empty Trash** permanently deletes the content of everything in the trash. It can't be undone. The words those results used still count in your usage for the period.

<Note>
  Only text results go to the trash. Deleted images, videos, songs, sound effects, and speech are deleted straight away and can't be restored, and deleting doesn't give back the credits or characters they used.

**Favorites** and **Trash** show your 200 most recent items.
