Dragon
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there lived a young dragon named Felix. Felix was not like the other dragons. While they breathed fire and scared the villagers, Felix loved to make friends and spread joy wherever he went. He had a gentle heart and kind eyes.
Every evening, just as the sun was setting, Felix would take flight across the kingdom. He loved watching the orange and pink hues paint the sky. It was during these magical moments that Felix would fly to the village nestled in the valley.
The villagers had heard tales about a dragon that lived in the nearby mountains and were afraid of meeting one. They would run and hide whenever they saw even a glimpse of a dragon. But Felix wanted to change their perception. He believed that dragons could be friendly and kind.
One evening, Felix spotted a small boy named Oliver sitting alone near a riverbank. He had a sad expression on his face, and Felix knew he had to do something to brighten Oliver's spirits. So, with a flick of his wings, he gracefully landed in front of the boy.
Oliver was startled at first, but when he realized that Felix wouldn't harm him, he smiled and slowly approached the dragon. "Hello, little dragon. What's your name?" Oliver asked, his voice filled with curiosity.
"I'm Felix, the friendly dragon," he replied, his voice as soft as a whisper. "Why do you look so sad, Oliver?"
Oliver sighed and explained how he often felt lonely because the other kids were afraid to play with him. Felix listened attentively and understood how it felt to be different. He knew he had to do something to help Oliver.
"Oliver," Felix said gently, "I have an idea. How about we become friends? We can go on adventures together and show the villagers that dragons can be friendly too!"
Oliver's face lit up with excitement. He had always dreamt of having a dragon as a friend. From that day forward, Oliver and Felix became inseparable. They explored caves, climbed mountains, and even flew together high above the clouds.
As they spent time together, more and more villagers began to see Felix's kind heart. People's fear turned into curiosity, and soon they realized that Felix was not like the fierce dragons from old tales, but a dragon that brought joy and laughter.
The villagers started inviting Felix and Oliver to their homes, offering them delicious treats and sharing stories. The once fearful villagers now saw Felix as a protector and a friend.
Word of Felix's kindness and the beautiful friendship he shared with Oliver spread throughout the kingdom. People from neighboring towns would come to visit, eager to meet the friendly dragon that had stolen their hearts.
Felix felt fulfilled, knowing that he had made a difference. He had shown the world that dragons could be gentle and kind, and that being different was something to be cherished, not feared.
And so, every evening as the sun set, Felix and Oliver would take flight, spreading happiness and love wherever they went. They were a testament to the power of friendship and the magic that lies within every heart, be it that of a dragon or a little boy.
