Free plan included
Messenger works on every plan, including Free. Actions, such as bookings, need a paid plan.
Facebook Pages only
You need a Facebook Page and admin access to it. Personal profiles can’t be connected.
Photos and files
It reads photos when image attachments are on and your model can see images. For videos and files, it asks people to type their question.
One agent per Page
Each Page answers through one agent. Connect it to another agent and it pauses on the first.
Reconnect alerts
If Facebook disconnects a Page, for example after a password change, it shows Reconnect needed and we email you.

  • Is the Messenger chatbot free?

    Yes. Messenger works on every plan, including Free. Actions such as bookings and collecting details are on paid plans.

  • Do I need a developer account or Meta’s app review?

    No. You sign in with Facebook, approve the permissions and pick your Pages. Everything else is set up for you.

  • Can I still reply to customers myself?

    Yes. Reply from your Page inbox in Meta Business Suite and the agent steps back in that conversation until an hour has passed since your last reply. Instant replies and away messages don’t count.

  • Can one agent answer for several Pages?

    Yes. Pick every Page it should answer for when you connect. Each Page answers through one agent at a time, so connecting a Page to another agent pauses it on the first.

  • Does it work with Instagram?

    No. It answers Messenger messages sent to your Facebook Page. Instagram direct messages aren’t a channel.

  • Do I need to say it’s an AI?

    Meta requires it in some places, such as California and Germany. Add a line like “Introduce yourself as our AI assistant” to your agent’s instructions.

  • What if Facebook disconnects my Page?

    That happens after a password change, or when the app is removed from your business integrations. The Page shows Reconnect needed and we email you. Click Reconnect and sign in again.

  • Which languages does it speak?

    It replies in the language each customer writes in, more than 80 of them, from the same knowledge.
