Is it HIPAA compliant? Do you sign a BAA?
Easy-Peasy.AI is SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA compliant. On any paid plan, you can sign our Business Associate Agreement (BAA) in your account settings. With a BAA in place, Progress, SOAP and DAP notes are deleted automatically within 24 hours, so copy them into your records the same day.
Do I need my client’s consent to record?
Yes. Ask for your client’s consent before you record a session, and follow the rules of your license and where you practice.
Can I use a session I’ve already recorded?
Yes. Upload the recording, choose Therapy Session as its type and turn on speaker detection. The notes are written when the transcript is ready.
Should I check the notes before I use them?
Yes. The notes are a draft written from the transcript. Read them, correct anything that’s wrong and add your clinical judgment before they go into a client’s record.
Is it free to use?
Yes. Every account gets 2 free transcriptions a month, with speaker labels, timestamps and subtitle downloads included. Paid plans add more transcriptions, starting at 25 a month.
How long can my recording be?
Long recordings are fine: a file counts as one transcription whatever its length. Recordings made with the AI Note Taker can run for up to 2 hours.
Which languages can it transcribe?
45 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi and Arabic. You can pick the language or let it be detected automatically.
Can it tell different speakers apart?
Yes. Turn on speaker detection and each line is labelled with its speaker and a timestamp. You can give every speaker a name.
What can I do with the transcript?
