Witness the Assembly of a Four-Storey Mech

A four-storey mech stands unfinished in a bright white assembly bay, one arm missing, chest cavity open. Camera at floor level looking up. Robotic arms swing in from the ceiling and begin fitting plating section by section, each panel locking with a hydraulic clamp, sparks falling from the welding heads in continuous streams. The camera rises with the work as the torso closes, the missing arm is carried in on a crane and seated at the shoulder. The reactor is lowered into the chest cavity last and ignites — every running light on the body coming on at once in a wave from the chest outward. The machine wakes before the assembly is finished: the head turns, the fingers of the new arm flex one by one, and it pulls forward against the frame — clamps straining, cabling going taut, the whole scaffold shuddering. The assembly arms retract fast and the camera holds as the mech strains against the last restraints, steam venting from the joints and one clamp swinging loose overhead. Ambient: assembly bay, machinery. Sound: hydraulic clamps, welding crackle, the crane motor, the reactor ignition as a deep swelling hum, servos waking, cabling creaking under tension, metal groaning, arms retracting, then venting steam.
