Audio plans and limits

Text to speech and transcription have their own allowances, separate from words and image & video credits. See them on Settings > Usage.

• Text-to-speech characters are shared by all the audio tools:

  Text to speech	One per character of text, half with Turbo, one per 10 with Saver voices
  Voice changer and AI dubbing	About 2,000 per minute of audio
  Music generator	600 per generation (two versions)
  Sound effects and the audio generator	1,000 per generation

  Marky’s speech and music, and voiceovers and music in AI videos, use them too. The tools call them by different names on screen: Usage, Speech credits, and audio characters.
• Transcriptions are used by speech to text and Record & Transcribe: one per item, whatever its length.
• Custom voices are your Instant clones, Professional clones, and designed voices together.
• Professional clones shows which plans can make them.

When they reset

Paid plans reset on your billing date each month. The Free plan resets on the 1st of the month. Unused characters and transcriptions don’t carry over, and bonus words don’t add characters or transcriptions.

When they run out

• Characters: the generate button changes to an upgrade button. In text to speech and the music generator, a job that starts within your allowance finishes even if it goes over. The voice changer and AI dubbing won’t start a file whose estimate is more than you have left, and sound effects and the audio generator need 1,000 characters left.
• Transcriptions: you can’t add a new item until your allowance resets. Upload new and Record Audio change to an upgrade link, and Record & Transcribe turns recording off.
• Custom voices: Clone Your Voice and Design a Voice are turned off. Delete a voice you don’t use to free a place.
