LINE is available on paid plans. You need a LINE Official Account with the Messaging API turned on.
Connect LINE
1
Turn on the Messaging API
In LINE Official Account Manager, open your account’s Settings > Messaging API and enable it. This creates a Messaging API channel you can open in the LINE Developers console.
2
Copy the channel secret and access token
In the LINE Developers console, open your channel:
- On the Basic settings tab, copy the Channel secret.
- On the Messaging API tab, under Channel access token (long-lived), click Issue and copy the token.
3
Paste them into Easy-Peasy.AI
Open your agent, click Channels, and click Connect on LINE. Paste the Channel access token and Channel secret, and click Save. The keys are checked and the webhook is registered with LINE automatically.
4
Check the webhook and auto-replies
Back on the Messaging API tab in the LINE Developers console, make sure Use webhook is on. In LINE Official Account Manager, turn off the account’s automatic greeting and reply messages if you don’t want them to answer alongside your agent.
5
Send a test message
Once connected, the LINE window has a button to open your account in LINE. Add it as a friend and send a question.
How it works
- The agent answers in one-to-one chats and in groups the account has been added to. Each chat keeps its own history.
- It reads text messages. For other messages, it replies that it can only read text.
- Your actions work on LINE, and conversations appear in Conversations under LINE.
- Each LINE Official Account can be connected to one agent.
